Very happy to be a part of one of the worlds largest industrial trade shows with the opening of the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) 2012. Taking up every inch of the sprawling McCormick Place convention center in Chicago, IL, this is the premiere event for the manufacturing industry.
Our booth, Kennametal (W-1522) is located in the West hall and has a significant lighting program, including a tension fabric header lit with LED strip lights. Facing the challenge of a longer than usual show run (7 days) we elected to design a system built for endurance and durability to withstand the requirement of active for 12+ hours a day. Dense theatrical lighting, coupled with a layer of automated and LED fixtures allows us create a custom environment while providing excellent visibility and makes the booth property stand out in a densely populated show floor.
